Occasion

Terms

For Occasion: Wedding Planner and Occasion: Event Planner. Last updated 25 August 2026.

Who you're dealing with

The apps are published by Createful Ltd, registered in England and Wales. Using them means accepting these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the apps.

Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the apps on devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, resell, rent out, reverse-engineer or redistribute them.

Your content stays yours. We claim no ownership of anything you enter — guest lists, photographs, notes or otherwise — and we have no access to it.

The free allowance

The apps are free to download and free to use for one plan, with up to twenty-five items in each list. We may change what the free tier includes for new users, but we won't reduce an allowance you have already been granted or paid for.

Subscriptions and purchases

Subscriptions unlock the limits and enable iCloud sync. They are sold and billed by Apple through your App Store account, not by us.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • Manage or cancel at any time in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the paid period ends.
  • Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your own currency, and may change with notice for future renewals.
  • One subscription covers both apps.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy — we cannot issue them. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Purchases made in the earlier versions of these apps are honoured, as described on the support page.

Your data, and your backups

Your plans are stored on your device, and — with an active subscription — in your own iCloud account. We do not hold a copy and therefore cannot restore anything for you.

Keep your own backups. An encrypted device backup, or iCloud Backup, is the thing that will save you. If a device is lost, wiped or damaged and you have no backup, the plan on it is gone.

What the apps don't promise

The apps are planning tools. They are provided as-is: we do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for the outcome of any event you plan with them. Deadlines, headcounts, dietary information and payments are yours to check.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Acceptable use

Don't use the apps unlawfully, and don't store other people's personal details in them without a proper basis for doing so. Where you put guests' contact details, dietary needs or access requirements into a plan, you are responsible for handling that information appropriately.

Changes and ending

We may update the apps and these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. You can stop using the apps at any time by deleting them. We may end your licence if you breach these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
